Oh, hi there!
I’m Mel, AKA Melonhead, to my family when I was growing up.
With over 15 years of marketing and social media experience, I’ve worked both in-house and for award-winning agencies. Now, I offer my services as a freelance social media strategist and content creator, based in Bristol and assisting businesses across the UK and beyond.
A unique approach
With a BA in Critical Fine Art Practice and an MA in Animation, I’m not your typical marketing professional.
I was drawn to the world of social media because of its huge creative potential, its scope for experimentation, and the real time feedback on results that it offers.
I combine my passion for storytelling and geeky love of data and spreadsheets with a creative curiosity that drives me to constantly find new and fun ways to make brands memorable.

I don’t live and breathe social media, I breathe air, like you do.
And I won’t bang on about my secret sauce for social media stardom because there are no magic ingredients in the recipe for success. But I will tell you that I work hard, I’m very good at my job and I get a genuine buzz from delivering work that I’m proud of.
